Economists Predict February Inflation Data with Average of 2.97%

The expectation survey regarding the February inflation data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) on Monday, March 3, was concluded with the participation of 20 economists.

The average of economists’ inflation expectations for February was 2.97%. Economists’ inflation expectations for February ranged from 2.30% to 3.40%. According to the average of economists’ inflation expectations for February (2.97%), it is predicted that the annual inflation, which was 42.12% in the previous month, will decrease to 40%.

On the other hand, economists’ inflation expectation for the end of 2025 was 28.67% as of February. The Consumer Price Index recorded an increase of 5.03% in January.
